The first month following the birth of your baby can be a challenging and tiring time. We can help and reassure you through this period by providing postnatal support home visits.
These visits, which can last up to an hour, are designed to enable you to discuss and offer support with any issues you might be having, such as breastfeeding difficulties, help with baby care and coping with parenthood. It can also give you the opportunity to reflect on your birth experience in a professional, unbiased way.
One visit is included in the antenatal class packages, and extra visits can be booked on an ad-hoc basis thereafter. The visit(s) will be arranged once you are back home with your baby and can be up to 28 days after the birth. Please see the prices page for more information.
Please note that these visits are complementary to the NHS community midwifery visits that you are entitled to.
